ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS A HOLIDAY-READY SMILE!
The Philippines is known to have the longest holiday season in the world. Once you see bibingka and puto bumbong being sold at the stalls near your church, you already know that Christmas is just around the corner. Office parties, reunions, and get-togethers will keep your social calendar busy. All these festivities mean saying goodbye to diet plans as early as November that continues until New Year’s Day. Choosing to celebrate the holidays need not mean that you will choose an unhealthy lifestyle.
Oraderm wants you to remember that dental wellness can still be maintained even during the Christmas season! Let these Christmas songs remind you that during the holidays, you deserve to keep those pearly whites party-ready and selfie-worthy.
SANTA IS MAKING A LIST, AND CHECKING IT TWICE. So make sure you keep your dental routine so you will not be in his naughty list! Always brush your teeth two times a day. Since you are also bound to be party-hopping throughout December, why don’t you stash a travel toothbrush and toothpaste so you can always ‘freshen’ up in between meals.
HE SEES YOU WHEN YOU ARE DRINKING, TOO. Having a cold glass of soda to match your crispy lechon is something you may not be able to resist. If you must drink soda, use a straw to keep most of the acid off your teeth. Clear alcohol, such as white wine and vodka, is less risky for your pearly whites. If you prefer red wine, do keep in mind that this can stain your teeth. Try to consume it with some food so to lessen how much of the wine can get to your teeth.
CHESTNUTS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE...but please do not use your teeth to bite into hard nuts and candies, or even open your gifts! Dental emergencies such as a chipped or broken tooth, is not something you would want to happen.
C IS FOR THE CANDY TRIMMED AROUND THE CHRISTMAS TREE. With all the tempting sweets and desserts, these sugar-laden treats are your dentist’s nightmare for you! But we don’t want to be the Grinch that stole your Christmas, so why don’t you try to eat sweets during your meal time? This will do less harm to your teeth compared to eating these as a separate snack. Eating everything in moderation will make you toothache-free for the holidays!
I SAW MOMMY KISSING SANTA CLAUS! You still have time to make an appointment for your bi-annual dental check-up or even a teeth whitening session. You definitely want to make sure you will be ready for kissing under the mistletoe.
WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS! Oraderm wants you have to have a happy and healthy holiday. We look forward to seeing your bright smile in the coming New Year.
